About
Lauren began her career in Public Utilities in 2010. Throughout her career she has shown exceptional leadership and commitment to enhancing public utilities. She has honed her expertise in governmental procurement and project management. In her role as Assistant Director of a public water system, Lauren has been instrumental in overseeing the operational aspects of water distribution, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while delivering reliable services. Her position demands a unique blend of strategic planning and hands-on management, both skills that Lauren has developed throughout her career. By integrating innovative technologies and practices into her services, she aims to contribute to a cleaner and more efficient future. Her ability to navigate complex procurement processes has led to significant cost savings and operational efficiencies for her organizations. Lauren is certified as a NC Water Distribution System Operator and holds a designation of Virginia Contracting Associate Officer, enabling her to effectively manage contracts and procurement processes pertinent to governmental finances. Recognized for her exceptional organizational leadership, Lauren is dedicated to fostering a collaborative work environment that empowers her team and promotes organizational growth. Her leadership style emphasizes transparency, accountability, and a shared vision of excellence, making her a respected figure in her field.
About
Wesley has a vast amount of experience in Instrumentation and Industrial Automation. He is most notable for his incredible troubleshooting ability. He is an expert on the Emerson Ovation DCS system as well as various brands of PLCs. He also possesses a vast amount of knowledge of analytical instrumentation (pressure, level, flow, level, and process specific analytics). Wesley has an extensive amount of project management and execution experience throughout his career. He played a huge role in installing and programming a DCS in-house without any vendor support. He has experience with programming and troubleshooting of the following systems: Omron PLC, Allen Bradley PLC, GE PLC, Yokogawa YS-170 and Emerson Ovation DCS to include UNIX (Solaris and Linux) system administration. He has a strong ability to collaborate with others with a positive attitude to maintain work efficiency.
About
Scott has an extensive background in Industrial Automation and Electrical Engineering. He is a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. His experience includes crane design for the US Navy (Navy Crane Center) where he has served in multiple engineering roles, as well as on their project management team. He currently serves as the Crane Design Engineering Division Director, where he manages the efforts of mechanical, electrical, and structural design engineers. Scott also has experience in electrical distribution, troubleshooting, and monitoring of the electrical grid via SCADA. He spent 17+ years working in manufacturing environments, which encompassed extensive time in facility/equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Industrial Automation related systems.
Scott also currently sits on Code-Making Panel 12 of NFPA 70 (National Electric Code).
