DOD Skillbridge Employment

Hampton Roads Automation (HRA) is an approved SkillBridge provider offering structured training, including both virtual instruction and on-the-job experience, for transitioning service members.

Our program allows interns to perform a broad range of duties aligned with the role of an Industrial Controls Technician, including electrical and instrumentation control tasks. This rotational, hands-on approach is designed to expose participants to multiple facets of industrial controls work, supporting the development of well‑rounded technical competencies. Through this experience, interns are able to evaluate their skills, interests, and long‑term career alignment within the field.
